As a Capricorn, I usually live for days like today. The horoscope for December 11 mentions that our “disciplined lifestyle” is paying off and that tackling backlogged tasks is the move. I felt that energy the second I woke up—I reorganized my entire inbox before my first coffee.
But the warning about being a “social hermit” struck a nerve. The forecast mentioned that we might be too focused on efficiency and forget to actually, you know, talk to people. I realized halfway through the day that I had been answering emails with one-word replies just to clear my list faster. It’s efficient, sure, but definitely not winning me any “Coworker of the Year” awards.
If you’re in “machine mode” today too, maybe take the advice to pause and actually connect with someone. I forced myself to have a 10-minute non-work chat with a colleague, and surprisingly, the world didn’t end because I wasn’t being productive for a few minutes. Who knew?
