Mercury retrograde occurs every four months, lasting approximately 22 days. In 2026, Mercury will be retrograde on the following dates:

On a personal level, periods when Mercury is retrograde are favorable for introspection, reading, and reflection. However, Mercury retrograde can also indicate interference or difficulties in communication of all kinds.
That’s why, when Mercury is retrograde, it’s not advisable to enter into contracts or transactions, as there’s a risk of misunderstandings. Likewise, during these periods, delays and cancellations affecting transportation, shipments, and all types of connections are more frequent.
Obviously, if we can’t postpone something, we shouldn’t obsess over it because maybe nothing will happen, but we can take the necessary precautions to minimize the possible setbacks that tend to increase during these periods.
