The lantern contains an eight-pointed star, which indicates that it is a direction that comes from beyond. The star provides vision to human beings, and reminds us that we are not alone. The star is synonymous with direction, protection, horizon and, above all, hope.
This path is presented as slow but sure and to be able to reach its end you will have to rely on your willpower and your inner strength, which is represented by the staff.
