Strength in the Tarot is synonymous with problems or conflicting situations that we constantly encounter in life. The young woman and the lion represent the opposition of two forces that harmonize to control the situation. It is the balance between the animal and the human part, instincts and reason. And it shows us that we all have within us the ability to control, dominate and resolve difficult situations.
The lion represents problems, and its tail between its legs (in the Rider Waite Tarot) tells us that its virulence has been controlled, dominated. Just like in the Magician card , the young woman is represented with an infinity symbol above her head. This reinforces the idea that this is an intelligent character who is in a cycle of constant knowledge, as well as that facing problems or conflicts is an absolutely eternal situation in the human condition.
The position of Strength and Justice is one of the main differences between the Tarot of Marseille and the Rider Waite. Both cards exchange positions VIII and XI.
This card invites us to use our inner strength, intelligence, diplomacy and tact to solve any problem that may arise. It shows that problematic situations can be controlled. Strength is a card of dominant action, control, courage and fortitude.
How to work with the Strength card in the Tarot?
