To you, O Lord, will I lift up my soul.
My God, I trust in you;
let me not be ashamed.
Let not my enemies rejoice in me.
Certainly none of those who hope in you will be put to shame;
Those who rebel without cause will be put to shame.
Show me your ways, O Lord;
teach me your paths.
Lead me in your truth and teach me,
because you are the God of my salvation;
I have waited for you all day.
Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy compassion,
which are perpetual.
Of the sins of my youth and of my rebellions, do not remember;
according to your mercy remember me
in your goodness, O Lord.
Good and upright is the Lord;
therefore, he will teach sinners the way.
He will guide the humble in judgment,
and teach the meek his way.
All the paths of Jehovah are mercy and truth
to those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.
Who is the man who fears Jehovah?
He will show you the path to choose.
His soul will dwell in prosperity,
and his offspring will inherit the land.
Jehovah’s intimate fellowship is with those who fear him,
and he will make known his covenant to them.
My eyes are always directed toward Jehovah,
because he will draw my feet out of the net.
Turn to me and have mercy on me,
for I am lonely and afflicted.
The anguish of my heart has increased;
take me out of my anguish.
See my affliction and my cares,
and forgive all my sins.
Look at my enemies, how they have multiplied,
and with violent hatred they hate me.
Guard my soul and deliver me;
let me not be ashamed, because in you I have trusted.
Integrity and uprightness keep me,
for I have hoped in you.
Redeem, O God, Israel
from all her troubles.
