To pass Reiki is to share unconditional love with humanity. It is to help someone achieve healing and well-being. We are here talking about the duties and desires of every Reikian. However, when we go through Reiki, we must keep in mind some fundamental steps so that we can heal the recipient and, at the same time, not get involved with the negative energy that is taken from it.
Our life is always busy. We have emotional ups and downs, tensions that destabilize our auric field and, consequently, our organism. This disharmony generates excess or lack of vital energy in our chakras and nodes (energy centers through which the strong force flows). Our thoughts and emotions highly influence these energy centers, and they also influence our thoughts and emotions.
When we go through Reiki, these energy centers come into alignment. The energy accumulated in the energy centers is dispersed, and the chakra’s lack of power is replenished. However, if we do not properly clean the patient and ourselves before going through Reiki, what we call catharsis may occur. Catharsis is a cleansing effect on the body. When excess negative energy accumulates in the chakras in conjunction with Reiki, the latter forces the negative energy outward. Side effects such as feeling sick, headache, dizziness, and vomiting occur.
There is yet another risk that occurs when the Reikian has not used protection for himself. The energy expended by the patient comes into contact with the Reikian, making the Reikian feel the same symptoms as the patient. For this not to happen, it is necessary that, before Reiki is passed, the Reikian uses some protection and cleaning techniques. 1. Use the symbols in the environment where you will apply Reiki
It is essential to prepare the environment, leaving it conducive so that the negative energy when going. If you do not have the symbols, you can use the violet energy technique. Concentrate for a few minutes and visualize violet energy penetrating the place, coming from above, transmuting all energy in the room. Ask for that energy to remain there, transmuting all qualified negative energy.
This is a great way to harmonize the environment and protect the place where Reiki is taking place.
2. Apply Reiki before sessions
Before each session, protect yourself. Use Reiki to harmonize your subtle fields and preserve your energy centers. In this way, you also increase your fine-tuning, making it easier for you to be the healing channel.
3. Do an energetic cleaning on the patient before applying Reiki
Before starting the session, place a glass of water nearby. If you want, you can also add a candle, crystals, and incense, thus symbolizing the four elements. Cup your hands in the patient’s auric field (the auric field is around the body, so you don’t necessarily need to touch the person), about 3 to 5 centimeters apart, starting at the top of the head and ending at the foot.
When you get to the feet, join hands by adding that energy. Approach the glass and place the energy in the water. So you remove the excess before giving Reiki to the patient, avoiding the catharsis effect. These techniques are for you to protect yourself, the patient, and the environment where you are.
